Can you believe that they are able to leave all that out and still bring you delicious breads, cookies, pasta, and more?  Believe it!  Here is some more on why my family and I like Namaste so much.

The Perfect Flour Blend is my personal favorite for a great go-to, all purpose flour.  Excellent for baking Gluten Free bread, muffins, pancakes, and more.  I even read that it can really be used one for one like real flour. I think I'll be trying some new recipes with this great product! 

One of the first things I made for the boys during their "no gluten for a month challenge", was a pretty basic bread recipe.  They loved it!  It was so much like normal bread! With that great yeasty smell, wholesome flavor, and beautiful rise...everyone enjoyed it....even my Dad (who isn't doing the no gluten challenge and usually doesn't like GF stuff) really liked it.  

Since the boys loved the bread so much and had been requesting it several times, I decided to make some more, but...I tripled the batch and forgot the rest of the eggs till the bread was tough and so difficult to mix.  It is still disappearing and wasn't a complete flop, but it is so hard.  Now I know/remember, that I should really never triple something unless it is done three times in three bowls (not just multiplying it in your head and using one HUGE bowl)!  Here are some pictures (going to upload once I have better internet, sorry!) of my flop/really hard, but tasty bread.  One thing we found that has helped make it even tastier, is melting a ton of butter and toasting it in a pan. Works well to just toast some up after making some eggs.

 

My whole family loves these products; but we aren't the only ones who love them now.  A week ago, while at running practice, a friend mentioned that her brother needed to make some gluten free snacks for his class at school and so she asked for a recipe.  Well, I could have just given her a recipe, but I remembered that I had a bag of Cookie Mix from Namaste and decided to ask N if she wanted to have it.  Well, over the weekend her Mom baked the cookies and then they were shared on Monday at his class.  According to N, everyone loved them!  She said that they even had a mom ask for the recipe.

Way to go Namaste.  You make school snacks easier!

 

A few weeks ago it was my sister's birthday, so I excited to try the Chocolate Cake Mix, for her birthday cake.  It was so much like real cake!  I was impressed by how well it held together, stayed moist, and had a really nice amount of chocolate flavor and color.

The Taco Dinner Mix was super helpful this past week to fill in the gaps for one of the weekday meals.  It was simple and easy, perfect for adding some variety.  Mom added some ground turkey and a few other additions, so when the boys were ready for lunch after a long day of school and hunting, they could just grab a bit from the stove.  Perfect!
