That really is what this company is all about. Creating amazing products with simple food!
I was so happy to find their products, first in many stores and then through the web. They have done well in spreading their of their products to be available the general public, but I have a feeling there are still many who don't know of this great resource for healthy food. Check out their site for yourself and then share it with a friend. Maybe you'll find something that suites your needs or desires for healthy food.
Woodstock Story
"It all started for us over 25 years ago, when we began selling natural and organic foods with belief that good food came from simple ingredients farmed from sources you could trust. Over the years, we’ve all seen a lot of food trends come and go with plenty of experts telling us what, and what not, to eat. All along, our belief has remained the same. Keep it simple and eat because it’s good!
We've grown a lot since we launched our first nut butter. Today, we're 250+ products strong in over ten categories. Over 70% of our products are domestically sourced and 75% are USDA Organic. We have over 145 products Non-GMO Project Verified, and we're not stopping there; over 80 more are enrolled and on their way. Read more about our commitment to providing Non-GMO products.
Recently, we teamed up with non-profit American Farmland Trust to raise awareness about the importance of preserving land for sustainable farming. Learn more about our partnership with American Farmland Trust and help us raise some green! |
I made my first batch of Paleo Almond Butter Bread with my jar of great Almond Butter from Woodstock Foods. My family really liked it! For such simple ingredients (eggs, almond butter, etc.) it seemed so much like real bread...or as one of my brothers suggested it is a lot like Ginger Bread.
"This creamy almond butter is made from organically-grown almonds with no added salt. Perfect for toast in the morning, or on a sandwich or fruit any time of the day. A healthy, delicious snack!"- woodstock-foods.com
I also got to try some of the Cashew Butter with which I made a similar recipe, Cashew Butter Bread.
It was tasty as well and no one could tell there was Coconut Flour in it, but I think the overall consensus was that it wasn't as good as the Almond Butter Bread.
"Cashew butter is known for its rich flavor and for iron, B-vitamins and zinc. This all-natural cashew butter is unsalted and Non-GMO Project Verified. Perfect for baking, spreading on toast, and more!"- woodstock-foods.com
This company also offers vegetables, fruits, lost of great things to snack on, and more! Check out their website to check out the great variety they have or check for them in your local store.
Today the boys tried the Berry Trail Mix. Micah said it tasted good! Dad wasn't crazy about the amount of almonds (to many?) and suggested that it would be tastier with some dark chocolate mixed in. Maybe they'll come out with that next!
Although we have yet to try the other Trail Mix and Bread and Butter Pickles we received, we look forward to tasting them soon.
I really admire Woodstock foods for their commitment to offering Organic, Raw, and NON-GMO food products. Every little bit from each company could help make a huge difference.
